It's hard to believe another year has passed... especially when it's been a whirlwind year like 2010. Two letters describe what an amazing and blessed year we had -- T and J.
Ever since his arrival in January... nothing has been the same and life has never been better. We have never laughed so much, cried from so much joy, and slept so little, and we are so excited for the memories and the mischief he has in store for us in 2011.
Mommy had been sick for about two weeks, and after going to work with a fever for three days, she finally called in sick on Thursday. Daddy was a huge help -- taking the day off and letting Mommy sleep in until 4 in the afternoon! Thursday night into Friday morning that fever finally broke, and after five days of antibiotics, I'm finally beginning to feel better.

On New Year's Eve, I was feeling about 80%, so we went over to TJ's friend's house. Jack's mom and dad (Susie & Chris) were having some of us couples and babies over for an early NYE get-together. It was so much fun with great company and good food! Frankie had a blast watching TJ play with all his friends -- something I didn't realize he never had the chance to see him do! They are all such characters with completely different personalities, and it's so fun we they all get together!
Mommy, Daddy and TJ were home by 6:30. We used the time to put away Christmas decorations and just reflect on the amazing year we had.

Today, we celebrated New Year's with our friends Ryan and Natalie. Somehow, through Natalie's work she was able to score front row seats at the Nuggets-Kings game. Of course, we said we'd go with them! It was such an awesome night, and TJ, once again, was a rockstar!

He loved it! He loved Rocky even more! TJ wouldn't take his eyes off him and kept reaching for him. Finally, when Rocky was in front of us, I hollered at him, and he came right over and picked TJ up. After a series of little antics with our son, he gave him back. TJ didn't seem to mind at all! Not even when Rocky tried to put TJ's head in his mouth!
TJ made it all the way to the buzzer without a fuss, and before we got out of the parking lot, the kid was sound asleep!

Thanks to Ryan and Natalie's generosity.. 2011 is off to a great start! We hope everyone had a safe New Year's, and here's to another wonderful year!
