The rest of the weekend we didn't do a whole lot... we just took advantage of the time we had as a family now that Daddy is done with his show.
On Wednesday, TJ finally broke the milestone barrier -- he took his first steps on his own! Of course, he had to do it at day care, but he had an encore performance at home with both Mommy and Daddy there that evening. Right now, it's just a few steps here and there, but all he wants do now is stand up on his own and walk holding your hand. He's walking everywhere... even if it is with help.
Today he kept standing up on his own in the middle of the room. He'd then look at me with a smirky smile, raise his hands, giggle and sit back down. He's a silly boy - have I ever said that before? :)
On Friday night, Mommy & Daddy had a date night... and what an amazing night it was. We saw LeeAnn Womack, Reba and King George in concert at the Pepsi Center. They played for five hours, and my voice was so sore from singing all night long!
This week, Daddy, Pa & TJ are going to the first Rockies-Dodgers game of the season. We're hoping for sunny weather... and a Rockies win. ;)
