Last week, our little slugger went to his first Rockies-Dodgers game of the season with Daddy and Pa. Since Daddy's a Dodgers fan and Pa roots for the Rockies... TJ represented both -- with a Dodgers hat and Rockies
sweatshirt.
sweatshirt.TJ had a great time, and Pa said he had more fun watching him... than the game. Of course, Pa wanted to buy something for TJ at the game... a little plastic bat and ball. But... TJ had something else in mind -- a small, wooden bat. A bat, he wouldn't let go of... he even went to sleep with it that night... and woke up asking for it at 5 a.m.
Thanks, Grandpa.
Now, TJ is goin' all Bam-Bam on everything in the house -- the floor, the side of the crib, the walls, the cat. (Not hard, just a little bonk that gave TJ a little giggle.) Still, Mommy's taken away the bat... only to have Daddy bring it back under intense supervision. :)
TJ continues to be the happiest little guy. It's so funny b/c he's always smiling and being a little goofball. He makes us laugh dozens of times a day.
His sign language is growing. He's added "thank you," to his vocabulary, and he's continuing to put signs together -- "food, please" and "more food."
On Sunday, TJ met the Easter Bunny. He was so excited he couldn't stand it! This is a picture of him as he waited for his turn... we're lucky the little girl in front of him got scared and didn't want to get her picture taken because I don't think TJ could've waited any longer.
He couldn't wait to pull on E. Bunny's ears and get his photo snapped. I think he likes mascots (he can't get enough of Rocky and Cam the Ram.) Unlike our visit to Santa's Village, TJ didn't cry at all -- I take that back... he did cry when we left the Easter Bunny's garden. That's our silly boy. This weekend, Daddy is going out of town for work... and we're helping TJ's buddy, Asher, celebrate his second birthday.
