Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

As I sit here with one hour left in 2011, I feel blessed at all we've been given this past year.  The times we laughed... the memories we've made... too many to count.
This Christmas, it became evident how very fortunate we are.  We were able to shower our son with gifts... add the gifts from Ga & Pa (too many too count), Aunt G, Nana and the California Martins... TJ had a lot to open, and he loved every one of them.  He especially loved the racing cars Santa gave him.  He yelled, "Merry Christmas, Santa!  Thank  you!"

It seems he really "got" Christmas this year.  In the middle of our annual Christmas Eve fish and pasta dinner, TJ yelled, "Merry Christmas everybody!  Santa's coming!  Go night night!"  It was hilarious!  In the morning, I told him it was Christmas and he asked me real quietly, "Santa comes?"  When I told him he was already here... TJ couldn't wait to get downstairs.  It was the best feeling to watch his smile and the excitement in his eyes when he saw his gifts under the tree!

We were so lucky to spend Christmas with Ga, Pa, Aunt G & Pat.  We all enjoyed a wonderful seafood and pasta dinner, and we loved watching TJ open his gifts.  After breakfast, everyone went home, and the three of us enjoyed some downtime before Mommy had to go to work.

It definitely was a Christmas for the record books.

This New Year's was a very mellow one.  Daddy had to work, so TJ & Mommy enjoyed a quiet day at home... in our pajamas.  We wish everyone a happy, safe New Year full of all the laughter and blessings we've been given.
